Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the conscious awareness of the present moment. In therapy, gaining the ability to observe our thoughts, feelings, and sensations with curiosity rather than judgment allows for greater self-understanding and emotion tolerance and regulation. Mindfulness has been empirically shown to be beneficial in conjunction with CBT to help people with depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and more.
